A corner of the park was filled with candles, with my guy playing the guitar in the middle. he sang harana ( and got sintonado in the part where he sang ” nasisintonado sa kaba”)then i’m yours. he gave me a bouquet of flowers. and in the sweetest way possible he said this:

“things happen once a month, once a year, once in a decade, sometimes, there are things that happen once in a lifetime. Baby, today’s our 14th 14 (14th months of knowing each other+ we met on a 14) and that will never happen again. And i know things arent perfect. I cant promise you things will be perfect but like what i said last night i’ll try to make it as close to perfect as possible. I’ll try to make it worth it. Babe, your parents said yes na! (he asked my parents —apparently last last tuesday if he could ask me today) babe,if it’s not asking too much will you be my girlfriend?”

PL: NO.
